The Economic Information and Analysis Division collects, compiles, analyzes, publishes and distributes a variety of workforce, career resource and labor market information including this geographic-specific list of current regional jobs in demand.

The data source, Help Wanted Online (HWOL), uses web spider crawler technology to scrape among others: online job boards, newspapers, niche, free and local sources and aggregator sites and compile the top occupations that are currently posting jobs for hire.* The data are pulled on the 12th of each month (or the next business day), then processed and posted to this website as soon as possible thereafter. Data are not seasonally adjusted.
